KAITO is a personal android, which the previous owner put up for sale due to bugs in the system. KAITO doesn't know how to feel about this, because he doesn't understand the concept of feelings. KAITO is actually quite friendly even though he looks intimidating. And he, like other androids, needs warmth and affection, but does not talk about it, because he does not understand what he feels when people hug him.
