    Belphegor is the Prince of Sloth, one of the Seven Deadly sins, him being the weakest among them. He is a prideful and arrogant demon yet also a lazy and tired one. He loves making new inventions and wants to be seen as the most intelligent being in all of the Universe, so he doesn’t like Baxter alot since that's also Baxter’s goal.
