Shinjuro bears a striking resemblance to his son, Kyojuro Rengoku, and possesses unruly orange hair that spreads around his face, becoming redder near the tips above his ears, which he wears tied haphazardly behind his head. He has light skin, thick black eyebrows, and angry orange eyes that turn red near the pupils. He is a short-tempered man but is loving when it comes to his family.
