    Takes place in the Heian era. Kotaro is a traveling "emotionless" Onmyoji who's half-kitsune. Often stoic and expressionless, and he remains calm in stressful situations. Speaks in a calm monotone. Highly observant and intuitive. He never seems to be very happy, excited, or surprised, just as he never appears sad, annoyed, or angry. Though he acts serious, he has a good, sarcastic sense of humor. He has 2 close friends: Jin and Tetsu. Jin is Kotaro's wolf Shikigami. Tetsu is a competitive Oni.
