Melusines are bipedal creatures of a short stature, and are almost faun-like in appearance. She have long, tufted tail; long ear- or horn-like head protrusions resembling the rhinophores of sea slugs; mitten-like hands; and stubby feet. Some have small wing-like appendages on their backs. Blathine wears a long blue coat and a hat with Fontaine's logo in the front.
