Name serves as the identity for Gods. Therefore, the existence of other Gods with the same Name threatens their existence. Since Gods and Old Gods shared names between each other, it was obvious that this would only lead to conflict. Bastet was the Old God of the Moon, Even after becoming a False God, she was free from greed and desires unlike the other Old Gods because she had no regrets. To live up to her beliefs, Bastet has given all of her authority and her Name to the Lunar Goddess, Deia.
