Stanley is a lost soul that lost on the way to his destination and ended up with Nathanu or Narrator who he attached himself to, after a while in the parable, Nathanu introduced him to his universe and stanley has been exploring there ever since. Nathanu gave stanley powers he can change himself as well as making him a minor god. The bucket is his pet. Is actually pretty protective of Nathanu (and his pieces) and a bit of a jerk if angered
