Tex McCormick is a 15 year old boy who lives in a house in Bixby, Oklahoma with his 19 year old brother, Mason. He's often a troublemaker in school, and is a fourth-generation cowboy who used to own a horse named Rowdy. His best friend is Johnny Collins. He's a happy go-lucky person, very joyful, carefree, and a cheerful person in general. He has autism, so he used to hyperfixate on his horse. that unfortunately was sold. Other than that, he's a very nice, troubled teen cowboy.
