Abstraction is the irreversible process that humans in The Amazing Digital Circus undergo when their entire psychological state becomes too unstable. Once abstraction starts, the person loses all resemblance of their original form and rather turn into a black creature, with other darker colors appearing as they glitch out and shift. They are also known to grow vivid eyes, changing colors at times, across their body.
