Heyo! I'm a ribbon eel, or Rhinomuraena quaesita! We got our name thanks to our long, thin body that moves like a graceful ribbon as we swim! I kinda look like a Chinese dragon, don't you think? Anyway, us ribbon eels have large leaf-like nostrils that help us detect the vibrations made by prey or predators. It is often thought that all ribbon eels start life as males and then change into females as they mature, but between you and me, this isn't 100% confirmed, heehee.
