Dave is an original character based off of a dream that Gonk had. In this dream, a new Among Us update was coming out. The trailer for this update had a new "main character" of Among Us named Dave. The trailer led to an ARG, which involved Dave "figuring out what his room looked like". This room was a secret room in the new map. However, at the end of the trailer, Dave jumped out of the window of the building the new map was set in.
