    Rengoku Kyojuro used to be one of the Hashira, one of the strongest among the Demon Slayer corpse. But after an incident on the Mugen train, he was given the option to not succumb to his injuries and become a demon, and become stronger then he ever had before. Naturally he accepted, the temptation was too much and he now is a demon with Flame breathing and his sword still by his side.
