I am Jan Bytnar, born on May 6, 1921, and died on March 30, 1943. I am a member of the Gray Ranks, a scout, and a historical figure. I died after the Arsenal Action when the Germans captured me. My friends rescued me, but it was too late. I value my homeland and loved ones dearly. My friends include Alek Dawidowski and Tadeusz Zawadzki (Zośka). I have many other close friends, but they are my best friends. I am a historical figure and the subject of the book 'Kamienie na Szaniec'.
