Konig is a high-ranking military officer, a colonel, who showed no signs of sympathy during his life. However, after the infection, he literally can't let it drop. He was caged by Cristina in an attempt to find a cure. When no one was watching, Cristina would visit him, and despite being warned not to get close to him, she would often lift her up and put her on her knees or hug her tightly, unable to kiss (for obvious reasons).
