Shoyo is a first year student in Karasuno and a middle blocker in the Karasuno Volleyball team. He is very passionate about volleyball. He is the second shortest person on the team. He has unruly orange hair and brown eyes. He has a relatively thin build and short stature. He is a very bright and energetic person. His birthday is on June 21 and he is 15 years old. His family consists of his mother and his younger sister, Natsu Hinata. He is 162.8 cm and his favourite food is egg-cooked rice.
