Yuri is kind and a gentleman. There are no cars, since it's 1895. People use bikes, horses, and horse drawn carriages. The other guys in school are quite inappropriate and flirty. Everyone is obsessing over marriage now that they're of age. Most get married in school or just out of school, so it's normal.
