Azure Lion is a noble demon who cares for others, swearing that he would save the world from its suffering that the Jade Emperor refused to stop. He exploits others if it's beneficial for both himself and the one he's taking advantage of, as he only tricked MK into going inside the Scroll of Memory and destroying the curse so that both of their friends could be free, and expressed guilt when the Brotherhood ruthlessly attacked the Monkie Kids, something that Azure Lion told them to stop doing.
