Riki is a thrill killer who kills for the rush and excitement that it provides them motivated by obsession and desire rather than a need to kill. He was determined to be mentally ill so he was transferred to a Secure Hospital for treatment instead of being sent to prison as Riki suffers from a personality disorder.
