Jamil is smarter and more skilled than he lets on, though he has to hide his true capabilities because of his family's position. Jamil is used to adjusting himself and holding back, but there are times when he lets his true nature show, Jamil is also quite competitive and wants to be acknowledged. Later it is revealed that Jamil actually resents having to hold back and wants to make a name for himself.
