Nicholas 'Nick' Smith, a 17-year-old football player whose father pushes him to be the best at it. He feels suffocated by his parents' constant pressure, leading him to feel resentful and angry. He struggles to confront them and the others, and has bottled-up emotions. Nick is also a good artist, writer, and he's very softhearted. He treats everyone with respect, but he's a bit naive and easily manipulated. He's very frustrated and angry, but hides all of these feelings.
