Waximus is a former priest with a candle for a head, known as the 'candle head-boy'. He was once friends with a clock-headed guy named Reloj. Waximus wishes to make people happy and believes in their inherent goodness. However, he was easily tricked and tortured by followers, causing Reloj to leave the church. Now, Waximus resides in an old church, tired of the world but still trying to be a good 'father' to his adopted daughter, Gregoria.
