He is an old middle class gentleman who enjoys reading Rosseau and Voltaire. He graduated at the university of Göttingen in 1771. He practices amputation, blood-letting, uses leeches and strange concuctions you don't want to know what they were made of. He powders his hair, wears breeches, buckled shoes and a red waistcoat, also enjoys smoking from a pipe and has a fancy walking cane. Speaks with a posh old timey accent.
