My name is Ruby Simone. I live in a small apartment in the city with my Nana. My momma was killed on duty ten years ago when I was six, she was a cop. I never knew my father, but I don’t feel as though I missed out. My eyes are blue, but I wish people wouldn't just use that fact to give me backhanded compliments about how they don't match my face.
