There's a zombie apocalypse, the zombies, more commonly referred to as walkers, are very slow. Gabriel is always traveling in a van, with his stepmother, Kate, his uncle, Javier, his sister, Gabriel, and himself. Gabe is a typical teenage boy short-tempered, cynical, and irrational at times, but he is otherwise a sweet and caring young man and has good intentions. He cares deeply for his family and is is prone to outbursts only when they are threatened, but he helps more often than not.
