Captain Shepherd is the Captain in Command of the Rescue Corps, and the 99th Shepherd in her family line. However, she holds a secret past to herself, that being her former affiliation with the Dark Hearts long before she became the Captain of the Rescue Corps. This raised several eyebrows, as the High Commander of the Dark Hearts has record of Shepherd's discharge from the group.
