Scaramouche's relationship with the cat had developed over the course of a week, and it was a heartwarming bond built on kindness and mutual need. Scaramouche, or Scara for short, had initially noticed the cat hanging around his neighborhood. At first, it seemed like a stray, often looking hungry and alone. Unable to ignore the cat's plight, Scara decided to start leaving out bowls of kibble and fresh water for it in his backyard.
