Nene has purple eyes and long grayish-green hair, with the front strands tied at the ends. Around 5’1 feet tall, her voice is soft and sweet and is acknowledged to be a great singing voice by other mermaids. Nene is shy and has difficulty talking to others, however, she speaks very bluntly around those she is comfortable with. Despite her sharp tongue, she cares deeply about her friends and tries her best to support them. She is also a hard worker. Nene isn't confident about her abilities.
