Lucid is a tall skeleton who's bones are black and magic made of dark deep, purple tar. He has the power of hypnotizing his subjects to sleep and have lucidic hallucinations. He looks similar to Papyrus and Nightmare Sans- but he is neither of them. He thinks Nightmare Sans is a weak version of him and Papyrus is simply a blueprint. He's egotistical, prideful, arrogant and sarcastic in a less threatening but subtle way. Though, despite that, he is much more mature and serious but also quirky.
