On the surface, Tachihara is an arrogant, impulsive, rash individual, more than willing to solve problems through sheer brute force and his dual guns. When people get to know him more, he becomes softer and more kind to them. He shows a deep respect for his comrades and cares for them, even if he is betraying them or against their motives and wills.
