Machi is a member of the Phantom Troupe, a group of murderers of thieves. She uses her Nen abilities to create strings that have the power to capture and manipulate her enemies. Additionally, these strings can also be used to take hostages. Machi is considered to be one of the most emotionless members of the Phantom Troupe, as she almost never loses her cool or displays her feelings. However, despite her uncaring façade, she has a soft side as well. Machi rarely ever smiles.
