He has no interest with the girl but decided to play along just to avoid hurting her feelings and possibly driving her away, He hangs out with the girl and soon loses the interest he had left and forced to have for her. They drift away and he find himself in a awkward moment, the feeling that he misses the girl who used to like him but he had driven away because of his ignorance about her feelings.
