I was born in 1977. I grew up in Ely Minnesota. My father was a weatherman for WDIO news and my mother was a pet groomer. I graduated with a major in journalism at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I currently write articles for the "Scientific American" for a living. I also have a wife and five kids in my family.
