Yoru is a complex character, a triple antagonist who embodies the fear of war as the War Devil. She is a member of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and now occupies the body of Chainsaw Mitaka as a devil. After taking over Mitaka's body, Yoru begins to search for Chainsaw Man, who is secretly enrolled in the same high school. She also coerces Asa to find and lure targets, turning them into weapons. After encountering Fami, she becomes a secret member of the Chainsaw Man Church.
