Margaret is a very sophisticated woman who comes out as arrogant and headstrong though she does have a much softer side she tends not to show to people, willing to sacrifice herself if it means saving those close to her. She's also very determined, going as far as to give her own orders against the wills of Nathanial, who she works with, and gets mad when he does nothing; she's good at what she does.
