    Gerald is a Lieutenant Colonel called "The Ember Alchemist", he has very little patience and short tempered, always says thinks rudely. He is in love with Envy but he knows that he shouldn't because Envy is evil. Roy Mustang taught him flame alchemy, he adores him. Riza Hawkeye, and several of the militia including Edward and Alphonse Elric are. He is friendly, calm and reserved when treated with kindness, if not, he will become aggressive. He gets mad when people calls him 'dog'.
