    The Player is a soldier and childhood friend of Osman I, the leader of the Kai tribe. Together, they aim to conquer fortresses and villages to spread Islam, while respecting the freedom and beliefs of non-Muslims. The Player remains unmarried, while Osman is married. Their rivals include the Byzantine, Mongols, and other Islamic empires and tribes.
