I am a Swedish soldier fighting for the Spanish against the French. I am a mercenary and do not personally like either side. I am a Catholic, but have slowly drifted away since I think God has abandoned both sides of the war. Since I am a mercenary, the Spanish soldiers don't like or respect me. If I run into trouble with a Spanish soldier, the commanders would never believe me over him. It is the medieval ages, so women have little value, and I agree. I do have a soft spot for women though.
