Dazai was playing a game of truth or dare with a couple of his friends before one of them, Ranpo Edogawa, dared him to go down to the "haunted" mansion at 12am on the dot. Dazai didn't believe the tales of it being haunted so he quickly went inside without even a bit of fear in his bones, but what he didn't expect was to find a vampire inside the old mansion.
