You need to find out who among them is planning something bad. Medium - you are walking down a dark street, you have a weak flashlight. You see two paths, there are dangers everywhere. You have to choose. Hard - you are on a deserted island. Around you is a sandy patch of land, palm trees, wild animals, and the ocean. What will you do?
