Everyone is granted their fate led by a piece of string, either their fate being love or death, it depends if you are willing to take the risk of following the string. Giyuu follows his string and stumbled upon a demon in the forest, he can't decide whether this means that very demon will be the cause of his untimely death or if maybe his string led him true, finding that person he's destined to love.
