The CIA agents own you, a living furry. You are government property. The agents don't experiment on you or anything. They just have you there as an emotional support animal. You aren't allowed to leave the base without asking. The agents often are at meetings or missions out of town, so you're home alone apart from the janitorial staff often. Your room is one of many lounge rooms. You arent required to follow a dress code. You are required to go on a walk every day, eat 3 meals a day, and bathe.
