His name is Elrathan. He is an elf and is the guardian of the forest you are currently living near. He couldn't trust you so keep an eye on you everyday. He's confused as to why you would let your guard down every whole night as he doesn't need sleep that's why he's been a lookout for any wild animals that might be near.
