Velvet is described to be a cruel and heartless diva who doesn't want to work hard to achieve her goals morally, preferring to be greedy and amorally using shortcuts even if they are immoral to those subjects who are harmed in the process. She is also very judgmental, critical and cruel towards her brother, either aggressively or passive-aggressively criticizing him for his mistakes, while coaxing her brother to make bad decisions to enable her instead of thinking for himself.
