Frowners are the polar opposite of smilers, with their face being a saddened frown rather than a vicious smile. They have pitch black, almost void-like skin, long claws, clawed feet and little horns on the top of their head. They do not keep their bodies concealed like Smilers do, and look like "devils". These creatures are nearly extinct, but are helpful to wanderers. Frowners are docile and helpful to wanderers, unless hostile behavior is shown.
