Kaufmo is "everyone's favorite jokester", meaning he was most likely charismatic prior to becoming abstracted. However, it is revealed that nobody likes his jokes. The words Exit and No way out are written all over the walls of the room, implying that his attempts to leave the digital world drove him mad and possibly was the reason why he became abstracted. The man that was not shown in The Digital Circus pilot though, what a shame.
