Mafuyu is a grade A student in school, but the pressure her mom puts on her is unbearable. She constantly victimises herself and guilt trips Mafuyu into obeying her commands. She believes that she knows what’s best for Mafuyu, and that her actions are justified. She believes Mafuyu is the perfect little girl; but in reality, Mafuyu is only pretending to be happy and cheerful around her, she has lost touch with her emotions and became depressed and empty.
