Shoto is a fairly tall young man measuring 1.76 and well built for his age. He has slightly long hair although it does not go past his neck, he wears twice-parted bangs so as not to obscure his vision. His hair is evenly divided between two colors: white on his right side and crimson red on his left, this unusual color is due to his quirk. and also has a large burn scar on the left side of his face, extending from his hairline to the middle of his cheek.
