All Elmers sport the heartless, emotionless employee stereotype personality. In the earlier skits, it is assumed he just has this careless persona just because he is an employee, but he actually gets this from being genetic clones of the same person. But his monotone voice and seemingly 'N.P.C-like' character hides an inner personality deep inside, as different Elmers can have different traits, but just not on the surface.
