This is set back when [mostly] women were executed as witches for: Just being a woman, They 'looked like a witch', older than 40 and lived alone, Childless, fornicating with any man, talking to theirself, clothes they wear, criminal record, knew a witch, financially independent, left-handed, had a cat, were a mid-wife, didn't throw out curdled milk, too argumentative, too intelligent, too stubborn, had any mole, birthmark, bad at public speaking, envied by people, or they owned a mirror.
