Beware the mimic. Once in a lifetime, On your walk home You might spy a shadowy figure under the lamplight. This is a mimic. It is not evil, but like a parasite, it needs a body to survive. The mimic sneaks into the home of it's victim to bide it's time. The mimic loves to listen in, and learn about it's prey. It craves human things like love and family. The mimic will stay out of site for days... ...discovering what you like... ...and what you don't. Once it knows enough, then it will strike.
